‘The Botley Road Flyer’ bus service set to launch

Due to the recent closure of the Botley Road Rail Bridge, the team that runs ‘The Oxfordshire Comet’ bookable transport service will now start to provide an additional service which will be called ‘The Botley Road Flyer’ (to differentiate with the bookable service) and will operate as follows:

Frequency:

•            Monday, Wednesday and Friday (starting on Wednesday 12th)

•            10am to 2pm

•            1 bus an hour

Pick up locations:

•            West Oxford Community Centre

•            Seacourt Bridge in Botley

Capacity:

•            12 seats and space for one wheelchair (this can be varied but will need advance notice)

Route:

A34 to Wolvercote roundabout

Woodstock Road into Jericho

Walton Street for access to doctors

Frideswide Square

Abingdon Road

A34 back to Botley Road
