We have a brilliant team of dedicated staff here at MyVision, find out more about them below:
Gail joined in 2015 as the Administrator and was delighted to become part of the small, but dedicated team of staff. Gail is an important cog in the MyVision machine, and is brilliant at answering any questions.
Jamie joined MyVision in 2022 supporting Nathan in the Resource Centre demonstrating equipment and sharing advice and support. Jamie lost his vision in 2020 and provides a wealth of knowledge through his own lived experience of sight loss.
Joanna joined MyVision in 2021 starting as a Trusts and Grants Fundraiser, and was promoted to Fundraising Manager in 2022. Joanna has a background in fundraising having worked for several charities in the past.
Arty joined us in 2022 all the way from Canada as our Communications Officer. He manages our social media and website, and he produces our monthly e-newsletter as well as our quarterly printed newsletter.
Andreas is our new Technology and Equipment Officer. Andreas is blind and moved to the UK from Sweden in 2022. He has a lot of experience in assistive technology and services for visually impaired people.
Katie joined MyVision in July 2023 as Volunteer Coordinator, recruiting and supporting all of our amazing volunteers. She has recently graduated, and is excited to be beginning my career with MyVision Oxfordshire.
John Coppock is our Support Worker in 2023 who is working with Andreas Findlow.
John has previously worked as a chartered engineer with a previous career in computer control of electrical engineering.
Lydia has started with us in January 2024 as a Fundraising Assistant Intern through the Thomas Pocklington Trust. Along with her guide dog Rotary, Lydia is ready to support the team and raise vital funds at local events to make MyVision’s services possible.
