It felt really awesome whilst doing the challenge, knowing that you are making a difference to those living with visual loss, and encouraging others to get out and try out different activities! – Daniel

How To Set Up A JustGiving Page
- Go to https://www.justgiving.com/, and click on the blue button on the left of the screen that says “Start fundraising”. This brings you into the page set-up process.
- First, it will ask if you’re raising money for a charity. Click ‘Yes’, it will prompt you to look up the charity name. Search for MyVision Oxfordshire, and click on our name, then click “Continue”.
- It will ask if you’re fundraising in memory, and then if you’re fundraising for a specific event or activity. Select the best option for your fundraising.
- The next page asks if you’d like to set a fundraising target. This is completely up to you. We are incredibly grateful for any amount raised!
- Next, it will ask you to enter page details, like the fundraising page name and a brief description of why you’re fundraising. It’s always great to have a personalised description for donors to read, about why you’re supporting MyVision.
- The next step is adding a cover photo for your page. If you’re happy to use a personal photo, that’s great. If not, the default image should be the MyVision logo, please feel free to use that instead.
- The final step is checking your page details and making sure you’re happy with everything. Once it looks good, click “Launch my page” at the bottom, and your page should be live!
