Volunteer Driver:

Time Commitment: This role is flexible and depends on client’s needs.

Could you help drive people we support to our resource centre, social groups, or events? We are looking for volunteers who can spare some time to help drive visually impaired people to their appointments at our resource centre or to our various social groups across the county.

Purpose: Help transport people to appointments

Location: Across Oxfordshire

Supervised by: Volunteer Coordinator

Duties:

  • Greeting passengers and ensuring they feel comfortable.
  • Be prompt and on time for all drop-offs and pick-ups.
  • Talk and listen to passengers.

Person Specification and qualifications:

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Outgoing and confident
  • Reliable and punctual

Visual impairment awareness training and a full DBS check will be provided. Travel expenses can be reimbursed.
