We are so proud to have school partnerships across Oxfordshire to help children to understand more about sight loss.
We’ve been really lucky to have some amazing school partnerships, who say their students have hugely benefited from our partnership style of working. All our talks and assemblies are provided by people with lived experience of sight loss.
We are always keen to build relationships with schools
Here are some ideas of how your school could get involved:
- We can provide workshops or assemblies to fit in with your school. Visit Training for Schools for more information.
- We can support your schools project work around sight loss and helping children to understand more about others’ needs, empathy and valuing diversity.
- You could choose to fundraise for MyVision Oxfordshire, with things like a non-uniform day or bake sale.
- Your staff or students could take part in a challenge event, including skydiving or MyVision’s Walk Oxford 2026.
- Staff and/or parents could get involved by volunteering with us.
